Naga Chaitanya reveals how he would greet his ex-wife Samantha if he bumps into her and also talks about his tattoo-having a special connection with the actress!
Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu were one of the most loved couples in the South industry. Last year, in October they left their fans heartbroken and shocked after they announced their separation in a joint statement. Both the actors got separated after four-year of marriage. To note, during the time of their courtship both Naga and Samantha had scribbled identical tattoos on their arms, having a special connection with each other. Now, in a recent interview, the actor revealed if he would change or remove his ink.
Speaking with Bollywood Bubble, Naga Chaitanya spoke about his tattoo and shared an incident when a few of his fans got a replica of his tattoo on their forearms. The Laal Singh Chaddha advised that they should not copy such things because the situation changes for everyone. Chaitanya was quoted as saying, “I met a few fans who've tattooed like my name and all that and they've imitated this tattoo (gesturing to his forearm). This is not something you would want to imitate. It's the day I got married. So I won't want the fans to put that. I feel really bad when they tattoo these things. It's like 'don't, things might just change. I can change the tattoo.”
Further, on being asked if he is thinking to change or remove his tattoo, Naga revealed, “No I haven't thought about it, it's fine.” The handsome actor also made a candid confession as he said he would “say hi, give her a hug” to Samantha if he bumped into her. Notably, the ‘Oo Antava' actress has three tattoos on her body and it is said all of them bear a special connection with Naga. Samantha has Chay tattooed on the right side of her rib. Reportedly, shortly after their marriage, the estranged couple got matching tattoos of two arrows on their forearm.
Talking about their divorce, Naga Chaitanya in an interview said that "it is ok to be separated and that this was a mutual decision made for their individual happiness. "
